We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our team at the Carlton Hotel.
Our Commis Chef will have a passion for cooking. Our team will aim to progress you to be confident in taking charge of a section of the kitchen. You will be tasked with producing starters or desserts and opportunity to develop to running the section. You will assist with prep work for the restaurant or functions and supporting the kitchen team. You will be organised and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring all food leaving the kitchen is to the highest standard to meet and exceed guest expectations.
What you’ll need.
- Previous experience in a kitchen will be highly beneficial.
- Passion for cooking and willingness to learn
- A form of professional cookery qualification would be beneficial but not essential.
