We are looking for an Assistant Operations Manager to join our team at Brig o’ Doon House Hotel. In this role, you will support the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel, ensuring exceptional service for both guests and colleagues. You will work across all departments, providing leadership and support wherever needed to maintain high standards throughout the hotel.
Part of the award-winning, family-owned RAD Hotel Group, the Brig o’ Doon House Hotel is an iconic hotel and prestigious wedding and events venue in the heart of Ayrshire. As our Assistant Operations Manager, you will support our Operations Manager in ensuring efficiency and high-quality service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations in the hotel, ensuring that all departments are operating efficiently
- Proactively addressing guest concerns and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner
- Assisting in monitoring and responding to guest feedback
- Supervising and motivating hotel staff, fostering positive and collaborative work environment
- Supporting training and development initiatives to enhance performance
- Assist in monitoring and management of hotel resources and inventory
What you’ll need:
- Proven management experience in a hospitality setting.
- F&B or C&B background (preferred but not essential).
- A hands-on, approachable leadership style.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work across and support all departments as needed.
