We’re looking for a Duty Manager at the Royal Hotel to support the effective operation of the hotel by delivering exceptional customer service and leadership to all colleagues and guests respectively.
As Duty Manager, you will be a key leader in the daily operations of the hotel. You’ll be the face of the hotel, ensuring the highest standards of service, managing the front-of-house team, and handling any guest enquiries or issues with professionalism. This is a hands-on role which requires a passion for hospitality and a knack for problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily hotel operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences
- Provide training to new and junior colleagues to enhance their customer service skills
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and guests to address enquiries and resolve issues
- Act as the main point of contact for guests, addressing and resolving any concerns to ensure a positive experience.
- Collaborate with senior management to implement company policies and improve service delivery
- Monitor inventory and supplies to maintain operational efficiency
What you’ll need:
- Previous experience of managing in hotel or similar quality of venue
- Excellent communications skills written and verbal
- Self-motivated and able to motivate a team
- Strong customer service skills
- Demonstrate a track record of managing in the hospitality sector
