We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our hotel management team at Seamill Hydro. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel to ensure the highest standards of service, efficiency, and profitability. You will work closely with department heads to drive performance, motivate teams, and enhance the overall guest experience.

Part of the award-winning, family-owned RAD Hotel Group, Seamill Hydro Hotel & Resort has undergone renovations. The hotel currently boasts 86 bedrooms, exclusive function facilities, two restaurants, leisure club and salon. Further development work to add to the resort is planned over the coming months ahead.
As a member of the Seamill Hydro management team, you’ll contribute to delivering exceptional service in a vibrant setting. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about hospitality and dedicated to providing memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring all departments are running smoothly and in line with company standards and policies.
  • Implement and maintain high standards of quality control and guest satisfaction, handling any issues or feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of department heads, including those in Food & Beverage, Functions, Housekeeping, Nights, Maintenance and Leisure.
  • Creating and managing staff rotas, ensuring optimal manning levels and efficiency across all departments.
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance, including revenue targets, to meet and exceed profitability goals. This includes managing revenue streams from food and beverage, accommodations, events, and other services.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or a similar senior management role within a 4-star hotel or large-scale hospitality environment
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team
  • Excellent commercial acumen and a solid understanding of hotel financial operations
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable guest experiences
